Centennial House Wedding | Lisa + Brian

FILED IN:

Their first date was on National Ice Cream Day. She met him at Braums, they picked out their favorite flavors of ice cream, and then they sat, getting to know each other and laughing and talking until the store closed. From then on, it has been a constant connection of love and hope, teases and giggles. Whether it’s disc golf, putt-putt, bowling, or the every day banter that they share, Lisa and Brian love to play and love to have fun.

On their third date, Lisa started to realize that this was the real deal. All she needed was for him to pass one test: meeting her son, Logan. It’s safe to say, he passed the test with flying colors and treats Logan as his own. She knew as soon as he met Logan,  he was the one for her.

Lisa and Brian began to get ready at the Centennial House in Oklahoma City for their fall, afternoon wedding…

Their bold and fun wedding colors were reflective of their personality as a couple-white, black, pink, and yellow! The details were beautiful and they added the perfect touch to an already amazing day…

Her shoes were definitely a statement and paired with her short dress, they looked stunning!

Lisa prepped for her wedding at her mother’s home in Edmond, but added the finishing touches at the Centennial House where she would soon say I do. Her future daughters and her sister helped her get into her dress and shoes…

Lisa and Brian opted to have a first look, which created lots of time for wedding photos before the ceremony. Lisa walked down the spiral staircase on the back porch of the Centennial House to meet her future husband…

They were both clearly very excited to see each other! The wonderful thing about seeing each other before the ceremony is that the bride and groom can have a private moment to enjoy each other and simply be…

Brian couldn’t wait to make Lisa his beautiful wife…

It was a sunny day, not a cloud in the sky. The cool breeze and the warm sun made for the perfect weather for an outdoor occasion and for outdoor photos…

We moved to the front porch as Lisa and Brian got a little cosy…

Brian and Lisa laughed and teased as they usually do, showing off Lisa’s radiant smile…

There is nothing like the drumroll before a gentle kiss…

Lisa’s short dress was simply gorgeous on her…

The ceremony started with a prayer…

And they promised to spend their lives together, side by side, forever…

And ended with a kiss to seal their promise…

The reception began with the first dance…

Completely smitten…

They were surrounded by family and friends as they danced…

Grandparents, parents, children and friends of the bride and groom covered the dance floor and had a party celebrating…

They had a simple cake for the two of them to cut and cupcakes and cookies for the guests to enjoy…

Pure bliss is sharing a cheesecake with the person you love the most…

Lisa and Brian said goodbye to their kiddos before driving off into their future as husband and wife. If anything was obvious throughout their wedding day, it’s how much they are loved by their families and cherish them deeply.

Thank you to everyone who made this day come to life..
